Clay County requires dog owners to clean up after their dogs on public and private property.
The owner or person in charge of the dog must pick up after the dog on public property, public walks, and recreation areas.
Animal Control Officers can issue a written warning or citation to anyone who violates the dog poop ordinance: 904-269-6342
